Rachel advises clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Her practice includes advising on grievance and disciplinary matters, long-term absence management, performance
issues, protected leave entitlements and redundancy and restructuring processes. She regularly advises on, reviews, and drafts employment contracts and policies.
She also regularly supports employers with negotiating terminations and settlement agreements across all levels of seniority.
Alongside her advisory practice, Rachel has significant experience in employment litigation and regularly represents clients in proceedings before the Workplace Relations Commission. She advises on a broad range of contentious employment matters, including unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and unlawful deductions from wages. Rachel is experienced in developing case strategies, preparing witness evidence, and collaborating closely with instructed counsel to deliver favourable outcomes for clients.
