Our Construction team has advised on some of the largest construction and engineering projects in Ireland, advising developers, institutional and private investors, funders, contractors, utilities and state entities. The teams is experienced in construction, development and infrastructure law and has advised on a wide range of complex and large-scale construction projects, which includes the structuring, negotiation, drafting and pricing of all forms of construction contracts. The team works across a range of sectors and can help you whether you're in commercial real estate, residential schemes, government, the public sector, energy, utilities or transport.
Our lawyers are experienced in all aspects of construction law. Our recent experience includes advising:
- a leading European real estate investment and asset management entity in relation to the construction and development aspects of their large scale apartment scheme in Sandyford. Our team advised on, drafted and negotiated development contracts for the project in addition to advising on and negotiating the development aspects of the facility agreement for the financing of the project, which included negotiating on aspects of both Brexit and Covid-19
- acted for an Irish real estate investor, developer and asset manager in relation to a joint venture acquisition of a land bank for circa €200 million and advised on the development management agreements and project interface agreements with respect to the joint venture structure regarding the development of residential, commercial and site infrastructure of the scheme on the land bank
- a global technology company in relation to the construction and development aspects of its large multi block commercial office campus in Dublin 2.
- legal advisor to an international global data centre on all construction, corporate and commercial and infrastructure aspects of its dealings regarding its mission-critical data centre facilities that protect and ensure the continued operation of information technology infrastructure for over 900 customers
- a large multinational wholesaler in relation to the development and construction of a logistics (with complex automation components) under a specialized MF/1 form of engineering contract together with advices regarding the construction and development of the warehouse facility and related site infrastructure under a design-build contract
- some of Ireland’s largest developers, PLCs, REITs and investment managers in relation to large scale complex commercial office, industrial, developments, development finance and sales and acquisitions
