  • on the launch of a wide range of UCITS and AIF products to include submissions to the Central Bank of Ireland as part of its pre-submission process in respect of commercial and residential property / real estate funds, loan origination, life settlement funds and ‘new and novel’ funds such as funds which invest directly and indirectly in digital assets
  • on the establishment and amalgamation and restructuring of UCITS and AIFs, to include common contractual funds, plcs, ICAVs, Unit Trusts, ILPs, unregulated and regulated structures utilising special purpose vehicles  /FVCs, and limited partnership arrangements
  • on the first Irish domiciled private equity medical cannabis and cannabis related technologies fund. Advice included a cross jurisdictional analysis of laws/restrictions/conflicts of laws/insurance issues related to investments in cannabis related companies domiciled globally
  • global investment managers and Irish management companies on cross border mergers, distribution arrangements, investor due diligence, structuring and lending arrangements, including regulatory compliance and authorisations, approvals and relevant regulatory inspections, AML, governance, outsourcing, remuneration policies and capital requirements
  • on investor due diligence to include advising on the first ever investment by a Chilean pension fund into an Irish (private equity co-investment) fund and separately advising governmental entities and pension funds on investor due diligence, regulatory, tax, ESG and applicable investment committee requirements
