Our recent experience includes advising:
- a large domestic lending institution in relation to the project financing of eight solar farm developments in Co. Cork, Ireland to be developed by the Amarenco Solar Group. We also recently advised AIB on the financing of an extension to the Glenmore wind farm, located in Co. Clare, Ireland, which is owned by the Craydel Group
- a multinational investment bank on its cross-border mezzanine financing of 66 solar projects across Ireland and UK to be developed by Elgin Energy. The total volume of the projects will amount to approximately 1.13GW when developed
- a major international energy company in relation to its 51% investment in Simply Blue, the developer of a proposed floating offshore wind project off the south west coast of Ireland. The project will initially comprise of a 300MW array, before scaling to a 1GW floating offshore wind farm
- a large domestic wind farm developer in relation to the development of several onshore wind farm projects, including the 57MW Boggeragh Mountain Wind Farm, the 28MW Dromdeeveen Wind Farm, the 24MW Bawnmore Wind Farm and the 44MW Knocknagoum Wind Farm
- a leading international health care company in relation to an eight year corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA) with Ørsted, whereby J&J will buy electricity directly from two onshore wind farms with a combined capacity of 63MW
