Anna Hargett Awad advises clients in all aspects of federal and international tax matters.
This includes acquisitions, mergers and tax planning for corporations and partnerships. In addition, her practice also focuses on tax accounting methods, controversy issues and various other corporate tax matters. Anna also has experience advising clients on tax credits such as investment tax credits (ITCs), production tax credits (PTCs) and other energy tax credits.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, Anna was an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Georgia. She also participated in Eversheds Sutherland’s 2021 summer associate program.
Before law school, Anna was a practicing CPA at a Big Four accounting firm, where she focused on research and development tax credits. She is actively licensed by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.
