On February 1, President Donald Trump issued executive orders imposing tariffs on goods from Canada, China, and Mexico. However, he paused the tariffs on Canada and Mexico for one month after discussions with their leaders. The tariffs on Chinese products took effect on February 4, prompting China to retaliate with tariffs on U.S. goods. With the pause on Canadian tariffs ending soon and additional proposed tariffs, significant changes in the trade landscape are expected.
