Eversheds Sutherland launches Dawn Raids app

Using technology to protect our clients’ needs

Eversheds Sutherland has launched a Dawn Raids application for clients, arming businesses with immediate step-by-step practical guidance on what to do and what not to do in the face of a dawn raid.

 

The app draws on the firm’s global competition team’s experience of advising on and handling numerous dawn raids – an unannounced inspection by a competition/anti-trust or criminal investigatory authority, which is a major disruption to any business and could also signal the start of protracted proceedings, potentially leading to:

• significant fines
• damages actions
• criminal prosecutions and imprisonment (in some jurisdictions) for individuals and the disqualification of directors.

The Dawn Raids app provides:

• step-by-step practical guidance for employees/businesses
• contact details of experienced legal advisors to ensure those nearest to the location can attend the raid quickly
• global coverage across 21 jurisdictions, enabling the Eversheds Sutherland team to defend dawn raids in multiple sites across the EU, US and Asia.
