Justine is a senior associate in our Employment Law department.
Justine has training in general litigation as well as employment law, and has an understanding of the functions of both the Gauteng and Western Cape Courts.
Justine advises on all aspects of employment law including, conducting and providing representation in disciplinary enquiries, CCMA proceedings, Labour Court proceedings and employment related High Court litigation.
Accordingly Justine is well versed with key pieces of legislation, namely the Labour Relations Act, the Employments Equity Act, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

Jusine's experience includes:
- Part of the team that successfully launched an urgent application in the Labour Court in terms of which we sought a declarator and order declaring that section 197 of the Labour relations Act applied in circumstances where GWB Technologies CC t/a GWB (“GWB”) replaced our client as the service provider rendering End User Computing Services to the City of Johannesburg.
- Successfully interdicted a former employee of one of our clients in the High Court from making defamatory statements and did so on an urgent basis.
- Justine graduated with an Honours in Philosophy from The University of the Witwatersrand in 2015 and obtained her LLB Degree from The University of Cape Town in 2018
- She is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa
