Eversheds Sutherland advises EQT Real Estate on On‑Site Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for Borna Logistics Development

Eversheds Sutherland has advised EQT Real Estate on an on‑site rooftop Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Fiege Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG for the Fiege logistics centre in Borna, Germany.

EQT Real Estate acquires, develops, leases, and manages logistics and residential properties across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, with EQT Logistics focused on developing and managing high-performance logistics centres that support the evolving needs of e-commerce, manufacturing, and distribution in key population centres and logistics hubs.

The agreement provides for long‑term supply of power generated by a rooftop PV system installed on the logistics facility owned by EQT Real Estate and used by Fiege.

Dr Arndt Scheffler (Counsel) and Dr Martin Weitenberg (Partner) supported and represented EQT Real Estate in the negotiations with Fiege.
