CEO of Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. changes

Partner, Attorney-at-Law Johan Wesander has been appointed new CEO of Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. His term will begin on 1 November 2023. As CEO, Johan succeeds Jari Salminen, who has headed the office for five years.

Johan Wesander's appointment as CEO brings a new generation to the company's management and further reinforces the importance of cooperation and progress in our operations. Johan has for several years engaged in successful cooperation especially with Eversheds’ Swedish office. Determined work for clients and the development of new working methods have made the transaction team led by Johan one of the most successful in Finland.

We had several good candidates for the new CEO of our company. However, in the end Johan’s choice was easy. Particularly his strong understanding of customers and vision of what our company should invest in and in which direction it should develop in the future were emphasised in the choice. I would also like to thank Jari for the past five years and for the good cooperation with the Board of Directors, says Harri Tolppanen, Chairman of the Board of Eversheds.

Following the change, Eversheds’ Board of Directors will consist of Partner Harri Tolppanen as Chairman and Partners Olli Hyvönen, Olli Iirola, Tuomas Penttilä, Niina Rosenlund and Vesa Turkki as members.
