Codrina advises General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs) in the alternative investment space.
For GPs, her areas of expertise include structuring, setting up, fundraising, and managing the ongoing operations of funds, whether regulated or not, and whether closed, open, or semi-open ended. Her experience encompasses various alternative strategies such as private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), infrastructure, real estate, private debt, and specialized debt. In addition to setting up main funds and Luxembourg parallel vehicles, her expertise includes setting-up feeders, continuation funds, co- investment vehicles, separately managed accounts (SMAs), team and carried interest vehicles, and mandates.
For LPs, she represents institutional investors in their due diligence processes and negotiations with fund managers.
She has a strong regulatory background, particularly regarding AIFMD, SFDR, AML/KYC, and MiFID. I also have experience in the setup of pension funds.

Extensive experience advising major global asset managers and institutions on the setup, fundraising, and regulatory aspects of private equity, infrastructure, real estate, private debt, and fund of fund structures.
