Sutherland Partner Named Among Nation’s Top Women LitigatorsJuly 07, 2016 ATLANTA—Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Jennifer Wheatley Fletcher has been named among the top women litigators in the country by Benchmark Litigation for the fifth consecutive year. The ‘Top 250 Women in Litigation’ publication recognizes attorneys for leadership in their fields based on targeted research including peer reviews and career achievements. Jenny is a go-to lawyer for litigation, especially in resolving complex construction disputes in-state, nationwide and globally,’ said Sutherland Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman. ‘Her dedication to the legal profession and our clients is unfaltering, and we congratulate her on this well- deserved honor.’ Ms. Fletcher is the leader of the Construction Industry Practice Group and has served as co-leader of the Litigation Practice Group and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Her practice involves construction industry issues exclusively. As lead counsel, she has successfully resolved complex construction disputes throughout the country and internationally, representing construction managers, developers, general contractors, owners, municipalities and specialty contractors. Under Ms. Fletcher’s leadership, Sutherland’s construction litigators have successfully resolved hundreds of construction cases in all 50 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico and overseas. A fellow in the American College of Construction Lawyers, Ms. Fletcher serves on the Executive Board and will serve as President in 2017-2018.
