Eversheds Sutherland targets funds finance growth with key appointmentApril 07, 2026 Eversheds Sutherland has appointed funds finance specialist, Linn Mayhew as a partner in its global Finance practice. Linn joins the global law firm’s London office from Reed Smith, where she was a partner, bringing with her a strong track record of advising leading banks, alternative lenders and fund sponsors on complex, cross border funds finance transactions. Her arrival reiterates the firm’s wider Corporate Finance group’s ambition to further build out a market-leading funds finance practice, with Linn set to play a central role in leading and growing the offering. With extensive experience across a range of products including subscription line facilities, hybrid capital solutions, NAV facilities, GP/manager and co-invest financings, Linn is widely regarded for delivering innovative and commercially focused advice. Her hire reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to attracting top-tier talent capable of driving growth in key strategic areas. Linn’s appointment also closely aligns with the firm’s broader funds strategy, led by European Head of the Financial Services Sector, Michaela Arter, and further enhances the depth and reach of its European private capital and banking capabilities. Linn will work closely with teams across Eversheds Sutherland’s international network including teams in Luxembourg, the US, Ireland and the Netherlands. In particular she will collaborate with recently appointed partners Sara Gerling and Codrina Constantinescu, alongside the firm’s top ranked US registered funds practice to deliver seamless, cross-border solutions for both sponsors and lenders. Her arrival uniquely positions Eversheds Sutherland in the fund finance market, providing a coordinated, multi-jurisdictional capability that enables the firm to advise across these key jurisdictions with a single, cohesive offering.
