Eversheds Sutherland Adds Insurance Counsel Theresa Fitzgerald in San Francisco

Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that experienced insurance attorney Theresa M. Fitzgerald has joined the firm as counsel in the San Francisco office. Ms. Fitzgerald joins nationally recognized insurance partner Dan Brown as the second insurance attorney that Eversheds Sutherland has added in San Francisco in recent weeks. 
 
With more than 25 years of experience in both public and private practice work, Ms. Fitzgerald focuses her practice on a wide range of insurance regulatory issues, representing insurtech companies, life, property and casualty as well as health and title insurers and companies offering warranty and service contracts. Ms. Fitzgerald served eight years as staff counsel for the California Department of Insurance, focusing on corporate affairs and conservations/liquidation matters. She also worked for the Hawaii Insurance Division, handling property/casualty insurance, captive insurers and legislative matters.
