Susannah is a senior member of our Real Estate Finance team, advising lenders and borrowers on investment and development financings, often with a cross border element.
Before returning to a fee earning role, Susannah was the firm’s lead Banking and Finance Professional Support Lawyer. In that role, she was responsible for developing and maintaining precedents, delivering training internally and to clients, and producing client facing thought leadership on topical legal and market issues.
Susannah brings those skills into her practice, combining technical expertise with a strategic approach to efficiency, knowledge management and innovation. She has a particular interest in the effective and responsible use of AI in real estate finance transactions.
Recent experience includes advising a lender on the development financing of student accommodation projects in London and Europe; advising a club of lenders on the refinancing of a portfolio of luxury hotels; and advising on a UK infrastructure development.
