Saed advises clients on complex project finance transactions throughout the region.
Saed has experience working with clients in the energy, infrastructure, transport and telecommunications sectors. He advises clients throughout the region on all facets of project finance, including review and drafting of project, finance and security documentation.
Saed also has particular experience advising corporate clients on various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, and public-private partnership projects.

Saed’s representative experience, including prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, includes:
- assisting a Middle Eastern Government in connection with the drafting of project documents (including implementation contracts and power purchase contracts) for their solar energy roll out
- advising European investment banks in relation to the financing of (50) MWac Photovoltaic Power Plant in Al Husainiyeh, Jordan. Scope included drafting of Jordanian law security documents and CP collection
- financing of an oil shale fired power plant in Attarat by a consortium of Chinese development banks. Debt financing is estimated at USD 1.4 billion. Given that the Government of Jordan has since filed an arbitration claim against the project company, scope also included review and assessment of possible defences and counterclaims under project documents
- advising a DFI with respect to the possible USD32 million refinancing of As-Samra Wastewater Treatment Plant. Role consisted of preparing a report regarding possible second-ranking security arrangements
- assisting the European Investment Bank in connection with Jordanian law aspects of facilities amounting to approx. 100 million Euros granted to the Government of Jordan for the expansion of Deir Alla WasteWater Project and provision of medical care related to Covid-19
- assisting a logistics operator in relation to the drafting of high-profile Development and Management Agreements for a cruise and multi-purpose terminal in Aqaba
