Berend’s clients are primarily (international) institutional and private equity investors, energy- and industrial clients and property developers. He has been involved in many landmark real estate, infrastructure and energy projects in the Netherlands, including the development, construction, and acquisition of the World Trade Centers in Amsterdam and Utrecht, the iconic Markthal in Rotterdam, the North/South metro line in Amsterdam and a biodiesel factory at Maasvlakte Rotterdam.
