Barry advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic and minority investments, reorganisations and other corporate transactions, predominantly in the energy and infrastructure sector, with a particular focus on renewable energy transactions.
Recently, Barry has worked on offshore wind (fixed and floating), onshore wind, solar PV, BESS, pumped storage hydro, geothermal and upstream oil and gas transactions across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa, acting for investors, developers, IPPs, sovereign and pension funds, and integrated utilities.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Barry was a Senior Associate at a Magic Circle law firm, where he trained and spent time on secondment to Airbus in Toulouse, and HSBC, and practised at US law firms.
