Umar R. Bakhsh

Umar counsels his clients on various aspects of IP procurement and enforcement, as well as licensing, purchases and other transactional matters. Umar is experienced in patent and trademark prosecution, privacy and cybersecurity matters and IP enforcement matters. Umar’s clients are leaders in the AI and machine learning, e-commerce, social media, fintech, gaming, consumer products and mechanical systems/robotics spaces. In addition, Umar has experience in product counseling and data privacy issues, particularly dealing with third party data transfers and licenses. Umar serves as the Hiring Partner for the Eversheds Sutherland summer associate program.
