We advised Icare Finland in a share transaction

We acted as legal advisor to Revenio Group Corporation’s subsidiary Icare Finland Oy in a share transaction  where the ownership of the Dutch software company Thirona Retina B.V. was transferred to Icare. Icare made a minority investment of EUR 1.9 million in Thirona Retina in 2023. In accordance with the agreement concluded at the time, Icare has acquired the remaining stock of Thirona Retina for approximately EUR 4.8 million.

Revenio is a global provider of comprehensive eye care diagnostic solutions. Revenio Group's eye diagnostics solutions include intraocular pressure measurement devices (tonometers), fundus imaging devices, perimeters as well as clinical software under the iCare brand.

Thirona Retina's leading product RetCAD™ uses artificial intelligence to screen fundus images for diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma.  With the help of artificial intelligence, large amounts of data can be processed quickly and accurately.
