Eversheds Sutherland Sweden has advised the sellers of Sightic Analytics AB

Sightic Analytics is a Gothenburg based technology company specializing in AI driven detection of alcohol and drug related impairment. The company has developed a software platform that analyzes eye area data to identify cognitive impairment and is used across safety critical workplaces, mobility solutions and vehicle integrations.
Smart Eye has agreed to acquire all shares in Sightic Analytics for a fixed purchase price of SEK 60.5 million, with an additional earn out consideration of up to SEK 50 million. Completion of the transaction is conditional upon the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products leaving Smart Eyes application without action, meaning that closing is subject to ISP approval.
