In addition, he works with multi-national clients on proactive compliance with US and global cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) requirements, distilling greater simplicity from complexity. Christian helps clients design and implement enterprise-wide compliance and risk management programs, including governance structures, policies, training, incident response plans, and regulatory exam preparation addressing privacy, cybersecurity, AI risk, and consumer financial protection.
Further, building upon his eight years in-house at major banks, Christian advises on financial services and banking organizations on a wide variety of consumer financial services regulations, including UDAAP, FDCPA, FCRA, developing risk management strategies, regulatory compliance frameworks, third-party risk management protocols, employee training and governance structures, ongoing monitoring systems, and documentation frameworks to support regulatory examinations. He has also advised a number of FinTech clients on payment processing, digital wallets, lending platforms, and licensing requirements.
Christian is a frequent writer and speaker on privacy, AI, and technology regulation. He has delivered continuing legal education presentations on privacy, navigating the legal risks of artificial intelligence, board governance, and consumer protection regulations.
