The deal of the month for Advocatus had the assistance of Eversheds Sutherland FCB.

The deal consists in the sale of oil exploration and production assets in Angola from Galp to Somoil, valued at approximately 777 million euros.

Eversheds Sutherland FCB assisted Somoil in the deal, with the team led by João Robles, Corporate and M&A Partner and Head of the Angola Desk, and including lawyers from several departments, such as Diogo Bernardo Monteiro (Tax Law), João Rocha de Almeida (Energy and Natural Resources), and Sara M. Rodrigues (Competition Law).
