Kamryn Alexander advises clients in construction disputes, as well as all aspects of business and commercial litigation matters.
She represents clients in an array of industries, including construction, insurance, financial services and education.
Kamryn counsels clients in complex construction cases in state and federal courts across the country and in arbitrations, representing major engineering, procurement, and construction contractors, general contractors, subcontractors, and owners. She advises construction clients on dispute avoidance and pre-litigation matters, as well as construction litigation issues when disputes cannot be avoided.
Kamryn also defends major insurance companies in suits alleging, among other things, negligent/bad faith failure to settle, and she represents state and local government officials in education funding and adequacy litigation. In the education arena, Kamryn has worked closely with national experts on topics such as education funding and student performance to develop cases, negotiate settlements, and to prepare for trial when disputes cannot be mutually resolved.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Kamryn was a law clerk for the Honorable Carlos Mendoza, District Judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
