She specializes in investment arbitration, international commercial arbitration and complex litigation. She holds Legal Project Practitioner and a Legal Process Improvement Professional certificates, which she utilizes to manage litigation projects and enhance legal processes. Magdalena has more than 13 years of experience advising and representing clients in disputes involving various industries, including energy and natural resources, trade, infrastructure and construction, including projects based on FIDIC contract terms.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked for a renowned Polish law firm and an international law firm in Budapest.
Magdalena supports clients in arbitration and complex litigation, and successfully uses legal project management (LPM) and legal process improvement (LPI) techniques in client’s cases. She also leads legal process improvement projects for large-scale case portfolios.
She has represented clients in high-profile international arbitration proceedings (investment and economic), conducted under the most important rules of the permanent arbitration courts and the UNCITRAL rules. Magdalena's experience also includes handling settlement negotiations with state governments, leading to favorable agreements in investment treaty arbitrations. She represented investor in an unprecedented investment dispute in which a tribunal found two violations of an international treaty in favor of her client.
