Cameron, a registered patent attorney, focuses on intellectual property litigation matters, patent and trademark prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, and counseling.
He regularly counsels clients in a wide variety of industries, including biotech and medical devices, exchange-traded products, hydraulic fracturing, electronic medical records, payment processing, drug rehabilitation, recreational vehicle manufacturing, aviation services, consumer products, fitness equipment, solar-assisted air conditioning, and nutritional and dietary supplements.
Cameron has argued discovery disputes and dispositive motions and has extensive motion practice experience in all stages of litigation. He also advised a leading tactical technology firm on an Integrated Product and Process Design project as part of an interdisciplinary team of engineers to design, develop, test and manufacture a non-explosive restraint-release device to replace pyrotechnic pin-pullers employed on satellites in orbit.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Cameron served as an intellectual property associate at a Florida law firm. He interned at the University of Florida’s Office of Technology Licensing where he helped determine the viability and potential commercial utility of patents sought for technologies developed by university researchers. Cameron was also a teaching assistant for University of Florida’s Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy course and worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office through the Patent Experience Externship Program, where he learned the inner workings of the examination procedures employed by patent examiners.
Cameron is admitted to the State Bar of Florida and the State Bar of Georgia. His work is supervised by California Bar members.
