She counsels US and foreign companies on matters relating to US export controls under the Export Administration Regulations and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Ana also advises clients on issues related to US Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control economic sanctions. She additionally provides guidance on a range of energy-related regulatory and transactional matters.
Ana first joined Eversheds Sutherland as a Summer Associate.
During law school, Ana was a legal intern in the Satellite Program & Policy Division of the Space Bureau at the FCC, where she gained experience in commercial satellite regulatory issues.
Her internships also included being a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and in the Civil Division, Office of Immigration Litigation, Appellate Section at the US Department of Justice.
