Burcin is a Senior Associate in our Banking and Finance practice group based in Amsterdam.
Burcin has experience in all aspects of finance transactions, including advice on security rights and legal opinions. She advises on a wide range of subjects such as negotiation in the area of corporate lending, real estate finance, project finance, leveraged finance transactions and restructuring. Burcin advises both national and international clients. Her clients are primarily prominent international banks, sponsors, private equity investors and borrowers.

- Assisting a global chemical and ingredients distributor in relation to an amendment of a credit agreement to receive an additional borrowing of USD 400 million of incremental term loans (which was in the form of a new tranche of term loan under the credit agreement) provided by a syndicate of banks in the USA.
- Assisting a commercial UK real estate lender focused on middle-market loans throughout Europe and the United Kingdom with financing the acquisition by a Dutch company of a shopping centre in Scotland.
- Assisting one of the largest private-owned Russian banks in relation to an USD 50 million uncommitted credit facility agreement to four co-borrowers, one of which was a Dutch company.
- Assisting the Dubai branch of a commercial British bank with providing a facility to a company in the UAE with several Dutch guarantors.
- Advised a Dutch investment company with investing and financing in a group of companies across the production, distribution and retail of aqua feed and fish in Southern and Eastern Africa.
- Advising a British bank in connection with amendments to a GBP 235 million Revolving Credit Facility Agreement and a GBP 350 million Term Loan Facility Agreement.
- Assisting on a cross-border leveraged real estate financing regarding multiple prominent premises in Amsterdam in a joint financing structure by a German bank.
- Assisting a Dutch/German joint venture company specialised in solar/renewable energy with the project financing for the largest solar farm under construction at the time. The 125 MWp solar farm was financed by two German banks.
Burcin completed her legal education at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2017, where she completed the masters’ corporate law and financial law.
