Céline Wauters is a Partner in the Employment Team at Eversheds Sutherland in Belgium.
With 15 years of experience at Eversheds Sutherland, she has built a solid reputation as an experienced employment lawyer and restructuring specialist.
Céline advises both domestic and international clients on complex employment issues, including restructurings, company closures, implementation of new working schedules, termination of employment contracts, drafting and reviewing work regulations and policies, international employment matters, audits and due diligence for multinationals, and drafting and negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements.
She provides pragmatic and hands-on counsel, supporting clients in setting up businesses in Belgium and navigating day-to-day employment law matters. Céline also has extensive litigation experience before Belgian courts related to these issues.
In addition to her advisory and procedural work, Céline is passionate about delivering trainings on Belgian employment law, both nationally and internationally. She is fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Céline obtained her Bachelor in Law at the University of Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven - 2008) and her Master at the University of Brussels, with specialization in social law (Vrije Universiteit Brussel - 2010).
During her studies she was Editor in Chief and Member of the Board of the legal periodical Jura Falconis where she was responsible for the Finances and Organization of the Jura Falconis Price.
Céline is a qualified lawyer at the Brussels bar.
