Michael Röhsner is partner at Eversheds Sutherland, focused on data privacy, cybersecurity, IT law, e-commerce and consumer law.
Based on his substantial experience in the area of data privacy, Michael supports leading international companies in complying with the GDPR and local data protection rules. In the field of IT law, he advises numerous companies on the drafting, revision and enforcement of contracts, particularly IT contracts. Furthermore, he supports businesses in the preparation of preventive measures for cyber incidents or in dealing with all challenges after a cyberattack. He is deeply involved with the latest cybersecurity regulations and regularly offers trainings on NIS2 & DORA as well as the Cyber Resilience Act.
Michael also advises on all issues of consumer law and e-commerce, such as the drafting of general terms and conditions and compliance with applicable consumer protection regulations.
He has been working at Eversheds Sutherland in Austria since May 2016 and was appointed to partner in October 2023.
