Nicola is a qualified lawyer at the Milan Bar (2016). Nicola joined Eversheds-Sutherland in 2023 after a long experience at one of Italy's leading independent firms.
Nicola specialises in industrial law and intellectual property law and advises clients (with particular reference to the fashion & luxury, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and information technology sectors) both in litigation and non-contentious matters. Nicola also deals with commercial contracts, labelling, consumer law, advertising and e-commerce. In his previous work experience, Nicola has developed significant expertise in personal data compliance and administrative liability of entities pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, including as a member of supervisory bodies.
Nicola is a frequent speaker at international conferences on intellectual property, fashion law and art law and is Vice-President of the Intellectual Property Commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats.

Nicola graduated in Law with honours with a thesis on the notion of 'Made in' in industrial law (University of Rome Tor Vergata, 2012). Nicola also holds a Master 1 in 'European and International Law' (Université Paris - Est Créteil, 2012), a II Level Master cum laude in 'Business Law' with a thesis on online counterfeiting (LUISS Guido Carli, 2014), post-graduate courses in fashion law (University of Milan, 2016) and in art law (University of Milan, 2019), a specialization master in law and taxation of international art markets (Scuola di Formazione IPSOA, 2018). Last, Nicola obtained an LL.M in Intellectual Property with a final paper on the notion of 'pastiche' in European copyright law (University of Turin - WIPO, 2023). Nicola attended the Lamaro-Pozzani University College of Excellence of the Federazione Nazionale dei Cavalieri del Lavoro (Rome, 2012).
