Svetlanna’s experience involves guiding multinational corporations through the intricacies of US and foreign tax and accounting considerations to achieve their business objectives in a tax-efficient manner. She is currently co-teaching a course on International Taxation at Howard University School of Law.
In addition to her client work, Svetlanna is heavily involved in pro bono work, assisting 501(c)(3) entities, private funds, and individuals in an eclectic array of tax matters.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Svetlanna assisted individuals and small non-profit organizations in managing inquiries from the IRS as a student lawyer at American University’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Additionally, Svetlanna served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Laura Cordero of the D.C. Superior Court. Svetlanna was also a part of Eversheds Sutherland’s 2022 summer associate program.
