Eversheds Sutherland Advises Kiwa on Global Acquisitions

This transaction, finalized on October 31, 2024, marks a major step in Kiwa’s global growth strategy, enhancing its reach in critical markets and broadening its service capabilities.

The acquisition encompasses National Quality Assurance (NQA), a leading certification provider in the aerospace sector with operations in the USA, UK, and India; the management systems certification division of BM Trada in the UK, renowned for its sustainability and management system certifications; Unitek in the USA, a top provider of supply chain management and technical support services across the automotive, defense, and aviation industries; the technical services division of Trialon in the USA; and the remaining 50% stake in NQA (Shanghai), a Chinese joint venture specializing in automotive certification.

These acquisitions solidify Kiwa’s position as a leader in TIC services, providing deeper access to key growth markets and welcoming over 1,000 skilled professionals to its global team.
