Barri is a Corporate/ M&A and Private Capital partner based in the London office. He focusses on complex and high value domestic and cross-border M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture transactions. Barri also regularly advises on international fund structures and general corporate governance and advisory matters.
He works with a broad range of clients including corporates, private equity and other investment houses, banks and financial institutions, high net worth individuals and funds on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Barri has an excellent understanding of key issues arising in certain jurisdictions, particularly across Europe and in and out of China and Africa.
His recent experience includes: advising Capital Dynamics on a number of co-investment transactions across UK, Europe and Asia including their co-investment alongside Pollen Street in the takeover of Mattioli Woods plc and the take-private of Jeisys Medical on the Korean exchange; Aurelius on the carve out acquisition of Exertis IT in the UK and Ireland from DCC plc; Silver Economy Fund on the private equity buy-out of The Private Clinic Group; BRITA Group on its strategic investment in Hello Klean Ltd; Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW) on the $4.2 billion sale of its Critical Care product group to Becton, Dickinson and Company (NYSE: BDX); Verod-Kepple Africa Ventures on their joint venture and fundraising, Jiujiang Defu Technology Co., Ltd. on its proposed acquisition of Circuit Foil Luxembourg (CFL) and Youngor Group on the UK aspects of the acquisition of French luxury children's brand Bonpoint.
