Timothy counsels insurance companies and insurance producers on their regulatory, product development, and transactional needs.
He advises clients on a wide range of regulatory issues, including compliance with federal securities laws, variable life insurance and annuity product disclosures, the emerging registered index-linked annuity "RILA" product space, formation and licensing of insurers and insurance intermediaries, market conduct, compliance with state insurance laws, and investment law compliance.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Timothy worked as a mediator for the Fulton County and Dekalb County Dispossessory Courts. He previously also participated in the Eversheds Sutherland Summer Associate Program and worked as a Summer Associate at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society's Senior Citizen’s Law Project.
