She advises clients, including investment companies such as business development companies (BDCs), on a broad range of corporate governance and transactional matters, including capital-raising efforts and regulatory filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) involving the Securities Act of 1933, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Carolyn participated in the firm's Summer Associate Program. While attending law school, Carolyn served as a judicial intern with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, in the chambers of the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg.
