Benjamine advises clients on all their individual and collective issues relating to employment law. She has developed a significant experience in the employment aspects of M&A and outsourcing transactions both in France and in a cross-border context, as well as corporate reorganisations involving social plans. She also assists with employment litigation, particularly further to collective redundancies, as well as discrimination and harassment claims. Benjamine is also a certified lawyer for internal investigations.
Her areas of work mainly cover the TMT, life sciences, financial services, chemicals, retail and consumer sectors, in France and internationally.
Benjamine is a regular contributor to discussions on the future of work, notably about how artificial intelligence is reshaping the relationship between businesses and individuals. She is the author of a number of articles and regularly speaks at conferences on the topic.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2025, Benjamine was a lawyer at Bird & Bird since 2000, where she had been co-managing partner of the two French offices since 2013 and Head of the Paris employment group.
Benjamine has acted for a number of clients, particularly in the life sciences, chemical industry and automotive sectors on all aspects of employment law including restructuring project, reorganization, business transfer and outsourcing projects. Her recent experience includes:
- representing a pharma company before the employment tribunal in relation to a collective employment litigation, with claims around remuneration (bonus scheme) filed by more than 100 employees
- representing a client before the employment tribunal and administrative tribunal in relation to employment litigations further to the transfer of one branch of activity
- assisting clients in relation to high profile reorganization/restructuring projects including site closure in different locations of France and handling industrial dispute
- Elected member of the French National Bar Association
