Helena previously served as a summer associate with Eversheds Sutherland, where she supported matters involving preferred stock, money transmitters, and Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs). She also contributed to pro bono immigration work, drafting correspondence to expedite asylum interviews. Her experience reflects a strong foundation in both technical tax analysis and client advocacy.
Helena earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as Senior Notes Editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and worked as a research assistant on federal tax policy proposals.
