Anna Maria is a Partner based in Milan.
She has extensive experience in Intellectual Property, with a focus on complex patent and trade secrets litigation, including multi-jurisdictional disputes. Her practice also covers trademarks, designs, software, Copyright, unfair competition and advertising. Her industry expertise includes mechanical and electronic engineering, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunications, media, chemicals, fashion, furniture, and industrial design.
She is widely appreciated for her ability to design highly effective and, where appropriate, unconventional strategies.
She advises clients on day-to-day IP matters, IP portfolio management, and M&A transactions. Her industry expertise includes mechanical and electronic engineering, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunications, chemicals, fashion, furniture, and industrial design.
In recent years, she has developed significant experience in the aerospace technology sector, advising on litigation, the structuring and negotiation of intellectual property rights, technology transfer agreements, licensing arrangements, and investment transactions. She also has strong expertise in assisting SMEs with project development and IP-related financing.
She serves as Vice President of LES Italy (Licensing Executives Society) and is a member of the LES International Copyright Licensing Committee and the LES International Trademarks, Designs and Merchandising Committee. She is also a member of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), including the AIPPI Standing Committee on Genetic Resources and Traditional Knowledge, and Vice Secretary of the Intellectual Property and Antitrust Commission of the Milan Bar Association.
She is actively involved in academic activities in Italy and abroad, regularly speaks at Italian and international conferences, and is the author of several publications.
