Victoria has more than 15 years of experience as a litigation lawyer, including before the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, the Court of Arbitration with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as in enforcement proceeding and insolvency.
Victoria represents clients in cases against various state agencies and commissions; in insolvency procedure (including bank insolvency); in commercial litigation, labour court cases, in arbitration cases, etc.
Victoria also advises clients in transactional context: negotiations, drafting agreements and other documents required for the relevant stages of the construction and development of real properties; lease agreements; M&A transactions; financing transactions, including secured transactions and the establishment of collateral.
Furthermore, Victoria has been involved in preparation of due diligence reports and legal opinions concerning energy and construction projects on the territory of Bulgaria.
Victoria has provided expert legal services in various legal spheres such as acquisition of financial institutions, telecommunication companies, industrial enterprises; advising on conclusion, amendment and termination of commercial contracts; consulting on corporate related issues; consulting and resolving of labour related issues, including labour disputes, termination of labour agreements, mass dismissals, disciplinary measures, preparation and consultations regarding internal labour documentation and procedures, work permits, visas, citizenship, etc.
Victoria provides legal services to a large spectrum of clients and businesses including various industries such as banks, insurance companies, entities operating in the energy business, hotel business, software companies, retail companies, etc.

Victoria is Head of the Litigation practice of Eversheds Sutherland in Bulgaria which is a rapidly growing unit, known for its large scale state liability and commercial cases, employment litigation and arbitration, including investment arbitration.

- is representing a major foreign bank in the insolvency proceedings of a Bulgarian bank, in a very complex and high value insolvency procedure.
- is representing a cereal wholesale company in various commercial cases and insolvency proceedings against debtors of the company. The receivables of the company towards its debtors were recognized in three pending insolvency proceedings.
Victoria has acted on a number of transactions for major private sector corporate clients, including:
- representation of U.S. Bank as retired bondholders’ trustee in relation to the refinancing with syndicated loan of the €400 million Eurobonds issued by a company operating in the telecoms sector
Victoria has provided legal advice and assistance to prominent international companies in various sectors – as hospitality, food production, travel technology, etc. on commercial and employment law matters; intellectual property; customs and other areas of law.
