Ed Lyons is a Principal Associate in our London office specializing in M&A and other corporate legal matters.
Ed qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2014, before moving to London in 2018. He has several years' experience advising on M&A transactions across the industrials and automotives, energy (oil and gas), real estate and technology sectors.
Ed is involved in the entire life-cycle of transactions, from preliminary engagement with potential buyers, due diligence and disclosure, negotiation and settlement of transaction documents to closing and post-closing matters. Many of Ed's transactions have cross-border elements, so he is experienced working with local teams in multiple jurisdictions and managing local law issues.
Ed has previously been seconded to the in-house team of a major UK plc.
