He advises organizations on managing cyber risk across the full lifecycle, from governance and preparedness to incident response and regulatory engagement. He is particularly well-versed in artificial intelligence (AI) and its intersection with cybersecurity, including AI-driven threats, secure AI deployment, regulatory compliance for AI systems, and the evolving risks at the nexus of AI, privacy, and cyber defense.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Chris managed a team of cyber intelligence analysts at a leading cybersecurity firm, embedded at a Federal cybersecurity agency. He regularly advised clients on emerging cyber threats, technological advancements, geopolitical developments, and major incidents, including supply chain compromises, ransomware campaigns, and full-spectrum incident response operations.
Chris previously served as a federal intelligence officer in the U.S. Intelligence Community, delivering classified and unclassified cyber threat intelligence to government organizations and critical infrastructure sectors, often in direct support of incident response and mitigation efforts. Earlier, he led a cybersecurity analysis team at a defense contractor, providing analysis and incident response support to large commercial enterprises.
Chris brings deep technical knowledge to his practice and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
