Jean-Robert Bousquet is a M&A partner in the Paris office of Eversheds Sutherland and Head of the Corporate Department (France).
Jean-Robert advises on M&A deals and joint-ventures, in particular in the financial services, media, food & beverages, industrial and defence sectors. He specializes in cross-border and and/or complex transactions, involving in particular merger control and/or foreign investment control constraints.
He assists large French and international groups and family-owned companies, mainly on their transactions in France and Europe.
He started his career at Francis Lefebvre in Berlin in 1998 before joining Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in Paris in 2001. He then joined the Corporate M&A team of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in 2006, where he became a partner in 2010 and Co-Head of the Corporate / M&A group in 2015. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, of the EM Lyon Alumni Association and the DJCE.
