His lending experience encompasses permanent, bridge, and construction loans, as well as loans that are intended for securitization or to be held in portfolio.
Emanuel also regularly handles the structuring and negotiation of joint ventures, the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets and related equity interests, and “borrower-side” financings. The transactions he has handled involve diverse commercial property types—from multifamily residential, office, retail, and hospitality to industrial, self-storage, mixed-used, and condominium developments.
Emanuel’s clients include domestic and foreign banks, insurance companies, real estate investment funds, asset managers, real estate investment trusts, Fortune 500 companies, developers, and other institutional clients and secondary market participants, as well as high net worth individuals and family offices.
He is admitted and has practiced law in both New York and Washington, D.C.
