We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2024 M&A report: “Navigating a complex global regulatory environment to deliver successful transactions - Increased regulation and the impact on M&A”. This follows on from our 2022 M&A report, where we explored strategic M&A globally, revealing the next drivers of competitive advantage. In our 2024 edition, we pick up some of the themes from that report and highlight the practical realities of our new regulatory normal.
To do this, we gathered comprehensive insights from over 170 lawyers across 26 countries within our global network, focusing on their experiences on M&A transactions and antitrust, FDI and other regimes in their respective jurisdictions.
In this report, we cover three key areas:
Increasing regulation and what it means in practice for deal making: Our global analysis of the regulatory landscape for M&A
Practical implications of regulations on deal making: How regulatory change is impacting deals
Setting up for success: Navigating regulatory hurdles and mitigating risk
