Margarida Roda Santos joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2005 and became a Partner in 2017.
She coordinates the Life Sciences and the Intellectual Property Departments, with extensive experience on IT, Data Protection and IP Litigation – both for the Portuguese jurisdiction and abroad (namely Angola and Mozambique). Within the scope of personal data services, she also holds the position of client EPD. The Life Science department manages all regulatory aspects related to Medicines, Vaccines, Medical Devices, Cosmetics, and Food Supplements.
She also develops part of her work integrated into the Corporate and M&A Department, where she leads the Consumer and Advertising Law practice since 2005.
Margarida is the author of several articles on Intellectual Property, IT, Data Protection, and Life Sciences issues for Portuguese and foreign publications. She is also a speaker at several seminars on Data Protection Law.
