She frequently handles matters involving unfair trade practices, trade secret misappropriation, consumer fraud, tort and complex breach of contract claims.
Kym regularly represents companies facing complex class action litigation. In the past five years alone, Kym has successfully defeated or settled more than 50 class actions. She has argued before various US Court of Appeals, including the Second, Third, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and has submitted successful briefing in the First, Third and Ninth Circuits where the court did not request argument. In addition, Kym has argued before the Arizona Supreme Court, the Arizona Court of Appeals and the First and Second Appellate Divisions in New York.
Kym joined Eversheds Sutherland (US) from an international law firm in New York, where she was a partner and co-chair of the litigation practice. She previously was an associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.
