Jessica is a Partner in the Competition, Trade and Foreign Investment team in our London office and her practice covers all aspects of EU and UK competition law. Jessica advises a wide range of clients on UK and multi-jurisdictional merger control, foreign investment filings, behavioural issues, cartel investigations, complex distribution arrangements including novel routes to market and product launches, other commercial agreements and compliance issues.
Jessica’s recent experience includes advising CyrusOne Inc on its $15bn acquisition by KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners, obtaining unconditional merger control clearance at Phase 1 for a consumer goods client, advising an automotive manufacturer and multi-national retail company on their routes to market across numerous regions and creating innovative solutions for differing sales channels and new products; advising a client group on the competition law implications and strategy around the future of a financial sector market; advising a British multinational financial services company on its commercial arrangements and agreements in light of the FCA's sector studies; advising on, and drafting materials for, competition law compliance and dawn raids for UK and global clients, particularly clients in the digital / tech sector; and advising on one of the European Commission's largest cartel investigations to date, in the trucks sector for which the team won a GCR award.
Jessica has previously been seconded to Tyco and VWGUK, as Senior Legal Counsel advising on competition law, commercial law and litigation matters.
