Over the next three years, it will reshape how businesses are formed, managed and recorded across the EU. For businesses, this law marks a significant shift towards fully online corporate administration, cross‑border recognition of digital documents and deeper interconnection of national business registers. If your business operates in more than one EU jurisdiction (or plans to) this Directive will affect the way you file documents, verify identities, appoint directors, register branches and maintain statutory records. The Directive has not yet been transposed into national law (currently expected by 31 July 2027).
